Nearly 200 vets and nurses furthered their continued professional development at the two-day VetEdge Congress held at Sandy Park.

The event provided a range of excellent speakers covering topics that included cardiology, dentistry, dermatology, nutrition and ophthalmology.

All conferences were held in the County Suite and Estuary Suite with smaller workshops run in the pitch-facing boxes on the second floor at Sandy Park.

The exhibition was hosted in Sandy Park’s largest space, the Exeter Suite, where delegates were also treated to a choice of three options for a hot lunch and the pick of two desserts.

Among the exhibitors present were: Accord, Antech, Ask Arlo, Burtons, Carus, Domes, DVH Veterinary Sales, Pharma, Elanco, Forte, HeartVets, Infusion Concepts, IVC, MSD, Summit, Millpledge, Pet-ID, Pioneer, Summit, SW Surgical, Vetlife, VetPlus and Zoetis.

Chris Ritchie, publisher and executive editor ofThe Veterinary Edge, said: “Why do we keep coming back to Sandy Park for our veterinary congress? It's because the team there are welcoming, friendly and professional, get all the fundamentals right, and are always available to help at a moment's notice.

“It's because the facilities are modern, clean, bright and spacious, with rooms of various sizes – all within just a few steps – and the great central Exeter Suite.

“It's because the catering is excellent, the refreshments well stocked; because there are lifts, a very convenient loading bay, and ample parking.

“Overall, Sandy Park is a top-notch venue. While it may look big from the outside, the conference facilities are centralised, so it's very easy to set up and break down.

“Big thanks to Bev and her excellent, attentive team for helping us put on another successful event. We're already booked in for 2027.”
