Sturgess joins former teammates at Sandy Park 20th Anniversary Dinner
Former Exeter Chiefs prop Brett Sturgess is now confirmed to be joining his ex-teammates at the Sandy Park 20th Anniversary Dinner this September.
Sturgess, who played more than 160 times for Chiefs between 2007 and 2016, was inducted into the Chiefs centurion club in April 2012. He returns for Sandy Park’s celebratory year a decade on from his playing retirement.
The former front-rower was delighted to receive the invitations from the club’s CEO and chairman Tony Rowe CBE to attend the unique event designed purely to celebrate the past two decades at Chiefs’ Devon home.
Sturgess said: “I can’t wait to come back and help celebrate 20 years at Sandy Park. What a 20 years it’s been for Exeter Chiefs! To play a small part of it, has been a privilege. Then to become a supporter of such a great club has been amazing.
“I’m looking forward to sharing the evening with some old teammates and the supporters that make the Sandy Park experience extra special. I’ll see you all in September!”
Alongside former club captain and Wallabies legend Dean Mumm, Sturgess and attending guests will be joined by current Chiefs men’s and women’s players to tuck in to a five-course dinner created by Sandy Park’s accomplished chef Craig Beacham.
The event will include fond reminiscence of glory days of old with laughter fuelled stories from both on and off the pitch, all led by the evening’s host, Sandy Park’s events partner Chris Bentley.
Tickets start at £130 or from £1,250 for a table of 10. Please contact head of business development and partnerships Emily Jackson at sp20@sandypark.co.uk to find out more details or book here.
