Excitement is mounting in and around Exeter as Aviva Premiership semi-final fever hits Sandy Park for a third successive season.

This Saturday, defending champions Exeter Chiefs will be looking to secure a place in English Rugby’s showpiece event when they tackle Newcastle Falcons at 3:30pm.

The Devon club are expecting a capacity crowd for the much-anticipated fixture, which has limited tickets still available by clicking here

Sandy Park, which will open from midday to all supporters, allowing those earlier arrivals to not only soak up the big-game atmosphere, but also view the other Premiership semi-final between Saracens and Wasps (12:30pm) on all screens around the stadium.

As always, all match-day bars and food outlets will be available from opening, as will the opportunity to purchase all your Chiefs goodies from the Trading Post or one of the two mobile club shops.

With over 12,500 expected to pack into Sandy Park, plus the Devon County Show taking place at near point Westpoint Arena and Ikea having recently opened just up the road from the stadium, supporters attending this Saturday’s game are advised to allow plenty of travel time to ensure they arrive for kick-off.

All normal match-day buses and trains will be operation from midday, as will the club’s official off-site parking which can be booked in advance at the cheaper rate of £7 by clicking here

There will be entertainment aplenty both before, during and after the game itself, including performances from the Taiko Drummers, as well as music in the Exeter Suite from ‘The Shrine’ and ‘Reckless’.Danny’s Disco will also be belting out all the classics following the final whistle in the Wigwam Bar.
