Sandy Park has been shortlisted for the Business Events Venue of the Year category of the 2026 Devon Tourism Awards.

The South West’s leading conferencing and events centre is guaranteed a gold, silver or bronze award at the ceremony that will take place Crowne Plaza Plymouth on 3 December.

A total of 27 awards will be presented at the ceremony to celebrate the multitude of businesses that support the tourism industry in Devon.

Bev Gratton, sales & event manager for Sandy Park, said: “We are delighted to have been shortlisted for this award. We look after thousands of business customers every year from small meetings to multi-day events, utlising the on-site hotel to make life easier for our clients. We have multiple repeat business customers who come back to us year on year for their exhibition, conference and banqueting needs.

“It’s also nice to be recognised in our 20th anniversary year for all the hard work that has gone into building our business.”

Robin Barker, awards director, said, “This year’s awards identified so many examples of businesses that wowed our judges with their resilience and innovation. I offer congratulations to them all, along with thanks to our many sponsors and judges who make everything possible.”

Gold winners in eligible categories will have the opportunity to progress to the national VisitEngland Awards for Excellence in 2027.
