Over 100 key business contacts from Exeter and Devon attended Sandy Park’s third Network at Sandy Park on Thursday 18th January.

Guest speaker Michael Caines MBE gave fascinating insights into his career and shared how his hard work, vision and determination enabled his dreams to become a reality when he opened Lympstone Manor nearly a year ago. He also highlighted how important it is for him to create jobs in the South West, as well as support the community by sourcing local produce where possible and through his work with the Exeter Chiefs’ charity the Exeter Foundation.

Guests were also joined by Exeter Chiefs’ Back-Row Thomas Waldrom, who thoroughly entertained guests with stories from his extensive career and his part in the story of the Chiefs’ rise to becoming Aviva Premiership Champions last year.

The next Network at Sandy Park event will take place on Thursday 24th May with a panel of inspirational speakers from Devon’s thriving Food and Drink industry including Otter BreweryDarts FarmFrobishers and Salcombe Gin. Tickets for this event will be on sale soon here.
