Join Thomas ‘the Tank Engine’ Waldrom for 20th anniversary gala dinner
Details for the gala dinner to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Sandy Park have been revealed.
Top of the list is the presence of Exeter Chiefs legend and England international Thomas ‘the Tank Engine’ Waldrom. The No 8 will be joined by other legends from the club’s 20 years at the stadium as sponsors, clients and supporters are invited to join in the celebrations on Friday, 25 September.
This glittering milestone celebration will also see current men’s and women’s players in attendance to enjoy a sumptuous five-course dinner crated by Sandy Park’s award-winning chef Craig Beacham.
The event will be hosted by the one-and-only Chris Bentley for inciteful Q&As and no doubt some never-heard-before stories along the way.
Exeter Rugby Club’s CEO and chairman Tony Rowe CBE said: “We are looking forward to seeing Thomas back here at Sandy Park but watch this space…there will be more legends to announce! It will be a great opportunity to celebrate how far we have come as a club in the 20 years since we moved to Sandy Park.
“However, it is also about celebrating Sandy Park as a business, as the leading conference and events centre in the South West. We want to celebrate with our loyal clients who have supported us since we opened our doors in 2006. It should be a great night.”
Tickets start at £130 or table of 10 from £1,250. Please contact head of business development & partnerships Emily Jackson at sp20@sandypark.co.uk to find out more details to book here.
