Sandy Park Set for Record Breaking Christmas

Sandy Park is already gearing up for a cracker of a Christmas period in which they are set to create new records for people celebrating the festive period at the popular Exeter venue.

Having welcomed over 4,000 guests last December, that figure has already been exceeded for 2016 with even more people booking up for one of the many Party Nights being staged at the home of the Exeter Chiefs Rugby Club.

Building on the success of 12 months ago, Sandy Park wasted little time in coming up with a wide range of different options for this year, all of which are aimed at offering guests the perfect party this yuletide.

Among the new attractions on offer are new local band Mammoth on four Live Band Nights, which include a festive three-course meal, evening entertainment and a photo-booth experience, plus the Christmas Comedy Party Night, which serves up not only a delicious two-course meal, but also a belly full of laughs from our top comedian Ray Crawford.

If that’s not enough to whet your appetite, there is also the chance to book up for a Private Christmas Party, Joint Christmas Party or your own Christmas Party Lunch.

Bev Gratton, Sandy Park Conference & Events Sales Manager, said: “Christmas is always a busy time for us here at Sandy Park, but again this year we have seen a significant rise in our bookings.

“December 2015 saw us create record numbers of people coming to us to celebrate Christmas, but here we are with three months to go having already reached the same figure as last year.

“When we redeveloped Sandy Park in 2014 we always knew our increased capacity would allow us to offer so much more to all of our clients and that has proved the case. The fact we have had to add more options and more dates underlines just how popular our venue has become locally.

“Already we know Christmas 2016 will be our biggest and best-ever yet, but we’re determined to keep building on the success year on year.”

With a visit to Sandy Park top of the wish-list for many this December, we are advising those of you out there still undecided on where to celebrate to get in touch with our events team today on 01392 427427 or email events@sandypark.co.uk
